The poem a dialogue between the poet and the fancy whom we will refer to as the spirit of the Christ. Its a dialogue between spirit and the poet on a philosophical level. It makes appeals to Christ to end the sufferings of the world with its preaching. The poem is a beautiful work of literature :)
