The last day anchored the clock,
The swan song tuned in the air
Time flaunting its pace, accessed
Drubbing the trumpet of its power,
No mercy and no heed around!
That time pauses nowhere,
We all ought to part
Embracing the gleaned memoirs.
The three tall years and our smiles
Had been truncated into the recent past.
Time treasures more ventures
To spring in our destined aeons,
But down the memory lanes
Will laze our desired good old days
Sprawling, static, still and unrevived.
We will liven our nostalgias,
With a few warm teardrops.
A thin giggle will stretch our lips
And lighten our loaded hearts.
Then will we merge again
Into our life, chasing our dreams;
For everyone fathoms the truth,
That time lingers for none! ! !
