Farewell To The Fallen Poem by Kingsley Eke

Farewell To The Fallen

Farewell to the fallen, dear friend so dear,
Your memory will linger, year after year.
In sorrow, we bid you adieu,
Though grief weighs heavy, our hearts still true.

Your laughter echoes, a joyous sound,
Now silenced, leaving only tears unbound.
Memories of you, we'll forever hold,
A bittersweet reminder of moments grown cold.

In fields of green, where wildflowers sway,
You'll forever rest, come what may.
Though death has taken you from our sight,
Your spirit remains, a guiding light.

Farewell, dear one, may your journey be bright,
May love and peace envelop you in endless night.
Though we'll miss you dearly, we'll find a way,
To keep your memory alive, come each new day.

Rest now, dear friend, your battle's won,
In our hearts, your legacy will live on.
