Fear Has Yet To Set In - Poem by Kimberley Waldron

if the curse is to be kept
then my heart has wept
for the last time in years

my feelings are gone
for god knows how long
memories quite clear
are fogged by the air

releasing the stress
is more than to keep it in
my body possess pain
and now i can feel again

like time is lost and my watch is broken
mother natures sweet promise
will soon be mistaken
as a disaster that never happened

my legs will crumble
my eyes might stumble
slowly i die
and so does my pride
for fear has yet to set in
