Feeding Time For Spiders - Poem by Tim Cronin

Feeding time and I
Know you're hungry for
Hunger never leaves the mind
Of instinct, just ask a
Mantis, these crickets poor
Bastards; just food, born
To die. Wonder if they
Mind that another
May live, I'm sure
Cows and chickens don't,
They're stupid and care
Little about anything
Except eating, and
Who's met bitchy grass?

Nice, but don't underestimate anything with a brain. (Report) Reply
