Feelings Poem by Sanjukta Dash

Feelings

I don't want to be in the race
I don't want to turture my emotions
Let their soft sublime tenderness
Be not be the victim of
The inhuman race

Let me be away for a while
From the noise that is louder
In its own achievemens
So blurred it's vision
It has lost the sense of appreciation

Let my feelings be my own
The little poetries that
Came out of the deep silent valley
Be unto my heart
As I have never weaved those
To impress any other
Nor any recognition they have
Ever aspired for
As I have never exposed them to
The world which believes
In acknowledgement and accolades....
