Feels Like The Sun Is Going Down - Poem by Max D. Hornbogen
Feels like the sun is going down, just a little too early. Can you see the picture of yourself, it just reflected from a light inside.
There is a place for me, to be. A place where I can just clear my head, now I see the clouds up so high.
Well it just feels like the sun is going down, just a little too early. This feeling I get is very emotional, kind of makes me cry inside.
So I have tried to recollect my thoughts and even pondered for a while.
I walked back & fourth, just to keep my sanity in check.
This moment was everything to me; it even pressed my heart deeply with love
I had a smile, that was bigger then the moon. Even the stars were out tonight.
Could not have been any better then this.
So I say the sun is going down, just a little too early for me. I want to live & see everything in life.
Can you hear me, through the wind? Your touch has inspired me so much. Could you just tell me what you know?
The way you looked at me was very motional. The smile you gave, was like a story that could have been told?
Every time you pass on by, just feels like a breeze in the wind. So I have notice that you have not been here awhile.
I think your picture is getting kind of dusty on my wall, just haven’t been cleaning in a while.
So why is the sun going down, early. Maybe that I am falling asleep.
