Oh, the dreaded day has come
The culmination of all my hard work
The final test, the final sum
A challenge to make my mind berserk
Studying late into the night
Cramming every fact and figure
Hoping my memory won't take flight
On this exam, my future's bigger
The classroom is filled with tension
Sweaty palms and racing hearts
Everyone hoping for retention
Of all the lessons and their parts
The teacher hands out the test
With a stern and knowing glance
We all do our very best
To give our brains one final chance
The clock ticks away the time
As I pour my heart and soul
Into every question and line
Praying my efforts will make me whole
But as the minutes come to an end
And the last question is answered
I can't help but feel apprehend
For the grade that will soon be rendered
With a sigh, I hand in my work
As I watch my peers do the same
Now all that's left is to lurk
Until the grades come like a flame
But as I walk out of that room
A sense of relief and pride
For I know I'll bloom
No matter what fate decides
For I've given my all
On this final exam
And no matter how I'll fall
I'll rise and continue to clam
For this test is just a mere trial
On the journey of my life
And with determination and style
I'll conquer every strife.
