Final Letter Home

Oh my love my dearest love
I long to embrace you once again
To hold your body tight
I long to smell your sweet fragrance
To feel your delicate soft lips
I long to hear you angelic voice
Your sweet whispers in my ear
How long we have been apart
It burdens my heart, oh eternity
Just as my pen touches the parchment
So do I come to you in this letter
The pen a relay for that moment
When I once again can hold you tight
Our souls will take flight
Top the mountain looking ore the valley
The lights glimmering as stars
But you and I are far above
In each others embrace
I know this will never be
It’s not my destiny to be free
Only in my dreams will you lay with me
My days will soon be to and end
In that moment reality will bend
My soul will fly to you and together
Forever in each other embrace we will remain
