Finally Home Poem by Nikole Taylor

Finally Home

I take the MTA
A bus and a train ride
& The red
It takes an hour for me to pull up
But I love when I unlock the door
My babies greet me with purrs
I take off my jacket
My shoes, my bra
I grab my favorite cup
With my favorite wine
I collapse inside my wicker chair
I turn on One piece
After a long day of work
I'm so happy
To finally be home.
