Finding A Saviour Poem by Roxanne Alston

Finding A Saviour

my feet are lost
my mind confused
from the touch
of the man who had all to lose

and yet I crave
a lust so deep
a scene to save
to inspire the leap

the music dies
my life in show
my soul sighs
the loneliness grows

He saved me
He calls me
He loves me,
and is all I see

around me is bare,
what holds me to stay?
the cry to care,
to continue the affray
