Fine. Poem by Annonymus Writer

Fine.

I'm fine.
I've heard that word so many times
From the kid who drops their papers in the hallway
From my friends when something is bothering them
Even from my parents when they're hurt
but don't want us to see.
We've all seen it.
Their facade is good but we can see through.

The person who can't sleep because of their overwhelming problems, reflecting.
'why do i exist.'
'everbody hates me.'
'I'm just a quintessence of dust'
The person who listens to depressing music until they reach a public place, where they play upbeat music so they appear fine.
Fine.
A four-letter word that says everything and nothing all at once.
An exuse
A lie
A cover up.

The person who is silent when they could be heard.
'who cares if I'm heard, ' they think, telling people white lies that grow bigger and bigger, until
'ITS FINE LETS JUST GO! '
they snap.

The person who stops trying when the world knocks them down.
They won't get back up, thinking that nothing that they do will impact the world. But thats where they're wrong.

Love is infinite
Our actions can make a huge difference in the world
You are loved
You are loved
You are loved.
You may not feel it sometimes, but like stars, it's always there.
By believing you're loved and knowing you won't be invincible against the words that cut like daggers, we can make the world a better place by choosing how to respond. It's fantastic!
Not okay.
Not good.
Not fine. :)
