First Real Boyfriend Poem by Keli Mims

First Real Boyfriend

Lips locked tight I'm not one to kiss and tell,
All those moments always went so well.
The sweet breeze blowing my hair,
blowing away any worry or any care.
Your fingers brush across my cheek,
I get a shiver and my knees go weak.
But you grab me and keep me stable,
I knew it would come it was inevitable.
One wrong move ripped us apart,
And I shown my festering heart.
Then fate brought us back together,
But of course it didn't end any better.
One quick heart-breaking, two minute call,
Left you alone after it all.
I'm sorry I never should have done it,
I know it was wrong, I'll admit.
You were everyting I needed and you tried,
But it meant nothing to me and I don't know why.
So this is for you my frist real boyfriend,
I'm sorry I let you down, sorry it had to end.
You're amazing and you'll find a great girl,
And you both will be happy, eachother's world.
So my final apology I'm sorry if I hurt you,
Because all in all I never meant too.

That is so sad... I think other people can really relate to this poem.... But I love the way it rhymed, told a story, and had a theme to it.... This was great!
