Flow With The Rhythm Poem by Emmanuel Asiedu Agyemang

Flow With The Rhythm

The river flows without a sound,
It knows where freedom will be found.
Do not fight against the tide,
Just let your inner spirit glide.
When fate begins to play its song,
The wild currents pull along.
Let the going softly go,
Let the staying stay and grow.
A sudden pain may make you cry,
And make you ask the reason why.
You thought you knew the better way,
To keep the light and hold the day.
You met the one you loved the most,
And held them close like a ghost.
It hurts to leave that dream behind,
And let go of what filled your mind.
But human will is small and blind,
Compared to what was designed.
Your fate sees where the path should bend,
And how the story ought to end.
Open your hands and dry your eyes,
For fate is quiet, deep, and wise.
New doors will open in the dark,
To light a completely different spark.

Flow With The Rhythm
POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Flow with the Rhythm reflects on the delicate balance between human desire and the larger forces of fate. Rooted in the idea that resisting life's natural twists often brings unnecessary struggle, the poem encourages us to surrender control and trust the journey. While letting go of cherishable memories, past loves, or personal ambitions can cause deep heartache, the text reminds us that human perspective is limited. Fate, however, carries a quiet wisdom that creates new possibilities and leads us precisely toward the path we are meant to follow.
