Fluttering Freedom Poem by Smiling Inside

Fluttering Freedom

When a tear
softly leaves your eye,
it's willing to escape,
done living for a while.

It rolls cheery
across your cheeks,
enjoying the moment,
for it's finally set free.

while sweeping its way,
the realisation occurs,
that all its life was lived...
just for today.
