Fly In The Ointment Poem by Cory Huennekens

Fly In The Ointment

Rating: 4.5

Eyes track flies hands clap and he dies
Why Because he was a nuisance
This is the way of man six is his number
One more than the fingers on his hand
He looks out over creation calling it his own
Deep down in his heart he knows the grave is his home
For from dust he came and to it he shall return again
drum.... drum.... drum.... drum.... drum....

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Symbol of thee Beast...The dreaded anti-Christ...I fear he resides in the East right now under the namesakes Isis and Iblis! Excellent storyline...Well done ~FjR~
