Food For The Mind - Poem by phillip seymore

devil tries to take my chance to heaven i call that robbery
cause honestly i dont believe in probably
cause if probably is a possibility then i pull my fist back for hostility
there is no way he is stopping me
i fill my brain with God's philosophy
his philosophy keeps me from turning into this monstrosity
i will be in his arms i can say that honestly
cause honestly the world is being attacked
being pushed to the edge until that line goes flat
thinking we can get back on track
but this track has derailed so no rabbit out the hat
cause all you hear is CLICK! ! CLACK! ! ! as the top of the gun pulls back
spark to powder you see the contact
cause this world needs contacts to see the world for what it lacks
thats why i put him first in my verse when i rap
moving cautiously trying to keep life from going splat
cause moving to fast you lack to see its beauty
cause truly it may make you smile like cosby and rudy
cause profusely i put my mind down loosely on this loose leaf
cause this loose leaf is where pain is released
cause i dont need a piece to bring piece
i can bring piece with God's treat
so take a seat while i make this world spin with no feet
