Fooled Poem by somebody else

Fooled

Indeed many warnings, were given to me,
but I ignored them, for I didn't want to see.
Seems a fool in love, is truly doomed to fail,
because when even giving it all, still can't prevail.
Heartbreaking to learn, it's been nothing but lies,
and a struggle to keep, the tears from the eyes.
It's been but a fantasy, in which lived only one,
and it's so disturbing, when all comes undone.
Feeling a fool, for I truly should have known,
but was probably just scared, to be alone.
But it's better now than later, the truth to learn,
although never ending, seems the heart burn.
But though unknown, were those lips I kissed,
deep down I know, that true love does exist.
