Footprints Poem by Brandy Bee

Footprints

Footprints on the strongest heart

weakest when it falls apart

waves are crashing on my toes

never worrying about the foes

darkness with the glittering sky

i fly i fly so high so high

i press my face against the clouds

release my thoughts

to the earth, the core of my being

with footprints

clear glistening blue footprints

i feel them falling to my cheeks

glistening are the footprints you left me.

This was an interesting poem I had to read it a couple of times before the meaning hit me. I also liked the lines I press my face against the clouds, release my thoughts.
