Footsteps Walking With Me Poem by SHISHIR RANA

Footsteps Walking With Me

Sometimes in darkness I feel,
Someone is behind me,
Following my every footstep,
May be, HE is here...

When the moon is hidden,
Among the dark brown clouds,
The twinkling of the stars is lost,
One feels alone and terrified…

As the strong wind blows,
The banging of the doors and the windows,
Rise in the volume of strange sounds,
Making a baby fear of ghost…

During that dark night,
As the cat looks afar,
Or, the owl sitting on branch,
One thinks of some demigod…

When you are walking on,
A lone road, where no life is seen,
No one is present, then just have,
Faith in HIM as HE IS there,
Beside you…

Oh! If you are lost anytime,
Just think of HIM, and surrender your soul,
To HIM, HE will be within you,
And HIS footsteps walking beside you,
In the snow…
