For Me As I Walk Alone And Stare At The Gap In The Trees. Poem by William Levy

For Me As I Walk Alone And Stare At The Gap In The Trees.

What does a hopeful future look like?
Is it an idea,
just something pushing forward?

I look to the skies for answers
because my heart never had any.

What If I decided to challenge myself?
risk my life
everything
I hold onto

Is it foolish?
Do I really need to know
what it is like on the outside?

What If I never come back?

The dead never did.
