For Me, I Wished You Loved Poem by Heather Schroer

For Me, I Wished You Loved

The beast hides in your eyes;
making you tell me lies.
Lies that only a fool would believe.
Lies that only I would believe.

Around you, I cry inside.
I beg you to hold me - to love me.
I wish it was me you craved - just me.
Without you, I cry on the outside.

Why is it you I love?
Why is it you I long for?
It is you I cry out loud for.
For me, I wished you loved.

Very pretty, pure message- that someone we'd love to believe anything but the truth about...
