For The Villain Poem by Katty Livingston

For The Villain

Rating: 5.0

And I never dreamed that I'd end up with a prince,
Thought I'd settle for the villain.
In the great big book of life,
My chapter seems a tragedy.

If you want me, look around.
And it may take you a while-
Just check the lost and found,
For the girl with the broken smile.

Oh, life is so short.
Given a century,
We're outlived by measly turtles.
And as a kid,
I was just too small for track-
I kept knocking down the hurdles.
And I still ran from my misfortunes,
As if they wouldn't come right back.

If you want me, look around.
And it may take you a while-
Just check the lost and found,
For the girl with the broken smile.
