For Your Poem (Psy Ends Friction) Poem by zmz gbzn

For Your Poem (Psy Ends Friction)

tilted in your palm
toward the violet sun
a little square of glass
a lump of sticky gum
a thousand tiny threads
of metal sewn within
and round about the sides
ensconced in brittle tin
the cyan leaves that fall
when raining season stings
for this small item dear
you gave your everything
