Forbidden Love, Forbidden Lust Poem by Emmanuel Bannister II

Forbidden Love, Forbidden Lust

Forbidden love or forbidden lust? You decide. You

request me to bare my soul, promise to never hurt you

and then cast me aside. Was I wrong to think with the

tears you shed, while in your bed, your breath on the

nape on my neck, was no more than words mislead? Our

body intertwined, emotions unite, to open myself once,

twice...to feel your wet tongue, the sweet pain of your

overbite, what was shared, was more than lustful

holidays but more as a forever soft kiss. I know I'm

in your heart, but to feel your pain please allow me

this, you hide yourself from me but also demand all,

you claim my seeds but afraid to help water and grow.

If the Sun and Moon truly are connected, then with

this ill fortune of forbidden love has cast nothing

more but an eternal eclipse and my soul never to see

love, life and light, just the mind numbing feel of

one's love, lust, and overbite kiss.
