Forefathers -A Glimps

Forefathers: A Glimps
_______________________________
Standing alone on the dam of the Rapti
I stare flowing - rippling it brown
That has covered the sandy floor
Where is my ancestors 'core
After cremation - for journey lofty.
_______________________________
With the water flowing I can see
Passing faces of my forefathers
They smile and nod heads with crown
While their eyes cast my sight
At once, I cry, "O men upright! "
But, all in vain, they flee.
_______________________________
Through the murmur of the river
I hear a sound that is strange
The sound of emotion -
They lost themselves for our creation.
My head bows for their favour.
