Foreign Desire Poem by Mohammad Yousef

Foreign Desire

By Mohammad A. Yousef

Waves crash on the shore,
A voice whispers from afar,
Hearts long to explore.

Sunset paints the sky,
Eyes met with a knowing glance,
Worlds collide, then sigh.

In whispered secrets,
Hands touch under foreign stars,
Dreams written in sand.

Laughter in the breeze,
Across borders, hearts connect,
Love knows no distance.

But shadows can creep,
The pull of different lives,
A promise to keep.
