Forest Underneath It All Poem by Tony Berndtsson

Forest Underneath It All

Deep in the forest of red eyes
Secret animals reveal choices
They hear all the lies
And sense the voices
The scar on your cheek will reveal itself
In the moonlight, which we have not been wishing for
It is time to throw the feelings onto the shelf
Listen closely and follow the roar

Ask yourself, be yourself
The Rain is falling, Wolfs are calling
The Fox is crying, Leaves are dying
Forest, underneath it all
Forest, hear your animals call

Yet to be a hand to hold
Let out the night inside you
The future is forever bold
Here the sky will no longer stay blue

Ask yourself, be yourself
The Rain is falling, Wolfs are calling
The Fox is crying, Leaves are dying
Forest, underneath it all
Forest, hear your animals call
