Than just stay here with you
Nowhere that I'd rather go
Than stretched out far from those I know

Just a nomad on no course

Talked my tongue off just to talk
Looked my eyes out just to see
Rubbed my hands raw just to feel

It doesn't matter
Where it is you're going to
Just where you've been
And what comes back to haunt you

The journey wont be over
Til everything's done wrong
If there's one thing to remember
It's that the past is never gone

Memories that bring crashing down
All the world that is around
The pain I thought I'd never feel
But just found that it's for real

That it's too late to look behind
