Forget Him Poem by Stacie Springer

Forget Him

Forget his name, Forget his face
Forget his arms, and warm embrace
Forget his love that you once knew
Remember now, there's someone new

Forget the fun you two once shared
Forget the fact that he once cared
Forget the times you spent together
Remember now, he's gone forever

Forget the times they played your song
Forget you cried the whole night long
Forget how close you two once were
Remember now, he belongs to her

Forget that you memorized the way he walked
Forget the way he always talked
Forget that he had you in a whirl
Remember now, the other girl

Forget his gentle teasing way
Forget you saw him yesterday
Forget the things he used to do
Remember now, she loves him too

Forget the butterflies when he said hi
Forget his smell when he walked by
Forget the day you said 'I do'
Remember now, he's not for you

Forget he was your first real love
Forget him as the stars above
Forget the times you said you'd wait
Remember now, his love is hate

Forget the times you two once had
Forget him though it makes you sad
Forget he was your greatest friend
Remember now, All Love Must End
