Forgiveness Poem by Christina C Sunrise

Forgiveness

Forgive someone means letting go
of baggage that gets in the way
it makes you see through clouded
glasses of a dingy grey.
Reliving sorrow of a past hurt
you keep the illusion alive
by digging in the dirt.
So cut the cord that binds you
to your foe
burn the cord and let it go.
Have them go away up in the air
see foe flying without a care.
So if you look at it from the stand
point of the soul—
you know you had to experience it
to learn and grow.
This by the way keeps your aura clean
your more conscious now
and can say what you mean.
