Form A Line Poem by Charles Lara

Form A Line

Rating: 5.0

The days line up like soldiers
One behind the other
They never stop marching
without missing a step
into a place of no return
where trees become thicker
and faces fade away
defeat becomes victory
love turns to torture
and the present is most
important to those living
and burying the dead under
the fountain of youth
the days line up like
those before and those
yet to come…
