Fortress Bella Poem by venessa ambrose

Fortress Bella

The castle had long walls
Formidable guards,
She sat on wholly,
As the tempest fought,
Watching the melodious thunder enclose the night,
Lightening came with its vigor,
Looting the darkness its time,
Even the musical wind,
Sounds filled with sonorous music,
Dislodge not the fortress,
It stood grandeur,
And fought away all restrains,
To herald its glory.
In the confound of the walls,
The sound of anticipation plays,
The gallant gate,
Is but a hoax,
The all-cowardly face parade,
Of a fallen army in Babylon's barracks,
The warriors of themselves,
Left is but an illusion,
FORTRESS BELLA
