Four Lads And A Lass Poem by Faith Cecelia Story

Four Lads And A Lass

Five souls, a perfect blend,
Bound by time, and love that won't bend.
Lady Z, the heart, the spark,
With her, the journey's never dark.
Childhood friends with M'Ziky, true,
A bond unbroken, tried and through.

M'Ziky, the charmer, smooth and sly,
He rules the gray, where shadows lie.
A master of the world beneath,
In whispered tones, he spins his wreath.
But with Lady Z, it's all a game,
They pretend, yet neither's the same.

Man 2 and Man 3, brothers in stride,
Their bond's unshakable, side by side.
From work to play, their souls align,
Clowning together, laughing divine.
They don't need words, their hearts are synced,
In brotherhood, they've always linked.

Then there's the youngest, fresh, anew,
A pastor now, with a heart that's true.
A legend rising, in the light,
He guides the lost with holy might.
While M'Ziky walks where shadows creep,
The pastor's light makes demons weep.

Yet in this circle, nothing's clear,
A ‘situationship, ' they hold dear.
Lady Z and M'Ziky's silent code,
Pretend it's simple, but love's bestowed.
Man 2 knows, the others feign,
But deep inside, they all remain.

They laugh and drink with no regret,
Four tequila shots, one virgin set.
How they got here? Who could say?
But here they are, come what may.

Some pay the bills, some just share,
But love's the currency, always fair.
Together they stand, through thick and thin,
In this strange world, they always win.

Through childhood, adulthood, old age too,
The circle grows but never splits in two.
For in their hearts, they hold the key,
That friendship's bond is wild and free.

In each other's arms, they'll always stay,
Through laughter, love, come what may.
For these five, through every stage,
Are the best of friends, page by page.
