Freedoms - Poem by Gordon Jerome

Hidden in the shadows of the darkest night
Lurks injustice from all thats right
For from here it can weild it's fearsum might
And rob the righteous of their sight
But behold the defender with torch held high
Lighting the heavens from earth to sky
Allowing the righteous a brilliance to try
As they breathe a long collective sigh
Refreshed we'll continue this fight we wage
Until all the injustices suffers our rage
And deceit is exposed from dark center stage
Then freedoms story can begin a new page.
'closing thought'
No ones freedom is ever too small
Thats why americans will protect them all
