Freedoms Keys Poem by Ken Barrett

Freedoms Keys

I seek freedom from my prison,
Where I find myself locked away.
I look back in reflection,
At the seeds that spawned my dismay.

The loss of my integrity,
Where I find myself in distress.
Only hinders self discovery,
Causing me to fall and regress.

With the anguish I've created,
Where I find myself afflicted.
This pain I could have prevented,
Leaving my heart inflicted.

There's no way to avoid this mess,
Where I find myself on my knees.
When I accept my forgiveness,
Will be where I find the keys
