Friendly Skies Poem by Jason Murak

Friendly Skies

This is kind of suppose to be a rap type thing. Its not that good but I just post whatever I write

Bring me up, up, away Let me touch the skies
Relaxing in my room just close my eyes
I sleep and I dream in a sleek disguise
You couldnt recognize but dont skepticize
Im trying to win your heart and in a million tries
I get one success to get you all impressed
Your gonna have to tie me down, heart in chest
Unless you want to be with me, heres the test
I dont mean to pest or seem depressed
But your the prettiest girl I have ever kissed
When your gone your the only girl Ive ever missed
If i ever had to make one you'd be top of the list
Your growing on me like a cist, Im so glad we exist
You send me your word, I keep it safe in my fist
Lets take off together, forever we fly
The layovers over, Hello Friendly Skies
