Friends - Poem by John Guevarra

think hard and remember the times
the times you cried and the times you laughed
the times you fell down and the times you stood up
those were the memories that surround us

if we look back we will realize how fast time flies
how fast our wounds would heal
how fast the pain will go away
how fast we grew up

six years in elementary
four years in high school
countless friends went by
friends and teachers who helped us

our memories will keep these priceless times fresh
for these times our the greatest for most of us
now college life is here
who will be our new friends?

who will be there for us?
some friends will come back
but true friends will always aid you
true friends are there....in a special place....your heart
