From That Moment Poem by Jamie Fox

From That Moment

From that moment
It hit me in an instant, like the flames in a wild fire.
Not knowing when or why I find myself in deep desire.
Each morning I'm stuck in the same ole rut.
I watch for the flashing light that comes creeping up,
Just before the early morning light.
The sound of my name rolls off your tongue,
Sending shock waves to the very depths of my soul.
The times we share are short and sweet,
Burning and yearning for that moment our lips will meet.
