Hear me, hear my tale
An account of a poor girl
Misfortune so memorable
Like an omen made it predictable
Traumatic was the event
Paralyzed. How could I prevent?
Difficult to believe like gossip
In their companionship.
In me they forced themselves
As though their empathy was on shelves
Confidence in me stolen since
Feeling worthless and without peace
Unless to help me you aim
Never will I be the same
