From Whence I Came Poem by Robert Matkovic

From Whence I Came

I've lost myself in the deepest depths
Drowning and dying of thirst
From there I came to love from hate
So I live again without hurt

I cried and screamed
When can I be free?
Which path leads me home
To where I want to be

The beginnings steps were empty
void of attention and life
They grew and I Watched them
Spit out my tree of life

When life saw me, their was no denying the view
It's not something you miss, it completely captures you
