On the hills by the Ethiope
Beautiful doe’ from ancient dwell;
Diverse in sight and virtue
The grassy plains their place of rest.
Here in this Ivy Tower
I’ve found a beauty excelling
Virtuous and lovely she is
Oh most wonderful Oceanian!
No! I can’t leave her to go;
But make her, yes! Mine forever
We are from a world apart
Tell me: how do I bridge this gap?
