Gaston And Pierre Celebrate And Toast Each Other On This Night Poem by Justin Gildow

Gaston And Pierre Celebrate And Toast Each Other On This Night

The empress has left her party
And her loyal followers have followed
her out the door

Inside the ballroom
Gaston and Pierre have finally found a
common ground
And their argument is over
However, as they look around
Everyone has left

With time on their side
Gaston and Pierre search the ballroom
While ransacking the area
Looking for any sign of money or jewels

They find it
Though it's all fake

Gaston and Pierre have deemed the empress
and her loyal followers out of their league
Disappointed with how their night turned out
They're ready to leave
However, they find cake and champagne

Deciding to
Gaston and Pierre choose to eat, drink, and
be merry

To an extent
As Gaston and Pierre have come to find
This night hasn't been a total loss
