Look how we restored Japan
When WW-II was at its end.
Citizens have lived better than ever
80 years as a republic, ally, and friend.
Some asked, why study history
It just encourages us to live in the past.
When we forget history, we repeat its mistakes
As the outcomes of all are cast.
