Gen Where Lives Truth? Poem by Mill Field

Gen Where Lives Truth?

Engendered by hypocrisy, double-dealing,
Corruption and power-mongering,
Turbulences of hatred, mistrust and economic storms of disaster
Strike our global environment like wayward meteors,
Impact craters of suffering
On impoverished and weak-voiced peoples;
When will it all end? When will sanity and truth prevail?

Cherries on the rim of the world;

This year?
Next year?
Some time?
Never?
