Getting Dressed For Marion Poem by Joseph M Donatelli

Getting Dressed For Marion

She likes to see me dressed in blue
She like to see me dressed in black
She likes to see me dressed in gray
What colors shall I wear today

My denim pants are black
My cotton shirt is blue
My Mayan belt a rainbow of every hue
My socks are black
My sneaker shoes are white and black too

Have I dressed myself correctly
Have I dressed myself as you would dress me
My golden chain and cross upon my shirt
Is a symbol for the ladies I don't want to hurt
Read Marion's mind read the sign no trespassing
