Gham-e-dauraan ne bhii siikh - Poem by Muzaffar Warsi

Gham-e-dauraan ne bhii siikhe gham-e-jaanaan ke chalan
wahii sochii huii chaalen wahii besaakhtaapan

wahii iqraar men inkaar ke laakhon pahaluu
wahii honthon pe tabassum vahii abaruu pe shikan

kis ko dekhaa hai ki pindaar-e-nazar ke baawasf
ek lamhe ke liye ruk gaii dil kii dhaRkan

kaun sii fasl men is baar mile hain tujh se
ham ko parwaah-e-girebaan hain na fikr-e-daaman

ab to chubhtii hai hawaa barf ke maidaanon kii
un dinon jism ke ehasaas se jalataa thaa badan

aisii suunii to kabhii shaam-e-ghariibaan bhii na thii
dil bujhe jaate hain ai teeragii-e-subah-e-watan
