Neither the ash of time, nor future's veil,
Extinguished truth's bright flame—it could not prevail.
The secret rose as "Ana al-Haqq" in wail,
They sought to bind the tongue, but could not prevail.
A mountain's height is nothing to love's gale,
It roared to Musa's heart, and could not prevail.
This fire is light alone, not dust nor frail,
Its riddle baffled thought, yet could not prevail.
Though form be finite, boundless is the tale,
From pre-eternal stand, time could not prevail.
At every breath I rise, at every scale,
The cosmos veils its core, yet could not prevail.
And Mykoul speaks at last, unveiled in grail,
They tried to break this truth, but could not prevail.
