Ghost
Does his ghost still
Come into my room
At night, when
I am all alone?
Have I unknowingly
Lain in wait
For his return
These long years?
When I turn out the light
Do I become a child again?
Have I not learnt I am
No longer defenceless?
No damage done
They thought
Yet after
All this time
I have not forgiven
And clearly
I have not forgotten.
