Girls Poem by Abigail Paul

Girls

Soft,
Familiar,
Taboo,
Curious.

I don't know what came over me,
I've never done this before,
Something made me feel this way,
To close the distance between playing and reality.

A midnight kiss,
Tongues interlocked,
Saliva swapped.

Maybe it's because I'm lonely,
And craved any human touch?

We kept going,
It got uncomfortable,
I stopped.

I'm not sure what this means for me,
Or for those involved,
I'll just write it off as hormones,
It was just an experiment after all.
